  13.                 The limit on the number of puzzles allowed in the databases
  14.                 has been removed. WOFMAINT will handle as many a you wish
  15.                 to throw at it. There is one limit that remains and that is
  16.                 in the DUPLICATE CHECKING routine. Only the first 2000 
  17.                 puzzles will be duplicate checked against.

  19.                 A NEW option has been added to the CFG file to control whether
  20.                 or not you wish to have the door LOG callers (ON/OFF) to a
  21.                 USAGE file. A separate file is created for each Node.
  22.  
  23.                 If you have activated the option that allows the user to leave
  24.                 puzzles when they end the game, you will notice that they will 
  25.                 now be asked to supply a category as well. This will make the 
  26.                 WOFUSER.PUZ compatable with the WHEEL/BONUS databases, thus 
  27.                 making it importable by the WOFMAINT program.

  30.          [v6.0] ALIAS option NOT working properly.

  32.                 Changed the color of the little squares representing the 
  33.                 letters in the phrase to CYAN from DARK BLUE. There have been 
  34.                 some complaints of being unable to see the DARK BLUE against 
  35.                 a BLACK background.

  38.          [v5.9] Based on a few problems reports, we have determined that the 
  39.                 WOFMAINT program was NOT handling the CFG file correctly when 
  40.                 using the GTUSER.SYS dropfile. One of the symptoms would be 
  41.                 that WOFMAINT would not recognize that WOF was registered.

  44.          [v5.8] Eliminated the 'ANSI not detected....' message since there are
  45.                 a few communications packages out there that give off their
  46.                 own type of ANSI.

  48.                 If using the TRIBBS.SYS system file, the door always presented
  49.                 the opening screen in black and white. Will now be presented
  50.                 in color.

  52.                 The Door knows that the caller is the Sysop, if the caller is
  53.                 record #1 in the BBS' user database. The BBS software passes
  54.                 that record number to the door via the system file. Some BBS
  55.                 software does not pass the actual record number but passes a
  56.                 relative number (ie: record #1 is passed as record #0). If the
  57.                 number being passsed is 0, the Door will not know it is the
  58.                 Sysop calling. We will now recognize the caller as the Sysop
  59.                 if their record number is 0 or 1.

  61.                 As more and more BBS' use Alias', we have been asked to
  62.                 provide a way for the callers to use their Alias' rather
  63.                 than their LogonName. All Sunrise Doors will now have this
  64.                 Sysop configurable option in the CFG file.

  68.          [v5.7] One of the most frequently encountered errors is a 'File Not
  69.                 Found' when the Door first starts up. This error is normally
  70.                 encountered by those setting up WOF for the first time and
  71.                 results from the Sysop NOT running the Initialization option
  72.                 in WOFMAINT. WOF will now check to ensure that the
  73.                 Initialization has been run and display a more appropriate
  74.                 message!

  76.                 Added a colorized (ANSI) TOP SCORE bulletin. You will have to
  77.                 update the CFG file to reflect this addition. See the
  78.                 WHEEL.DOC file for placement of this new entry.

  91.                 has not been required for some time, but was never removed
  92.                 from the archive. This file used to contain the valid
  93.                 categories.. you are not currently restricted and may use ANY
  94.                 category of 20 or less characters.

  97.          [v5.6] Past problems with large values in the Door.Sys or other System
  98.                 Files (Drop Files) generating an OVERLOW (Error 6) error, have
  99.                 been resolved.

  101.                 When the Door displays the opening screen, it asks if you want
  102.                 instructions and you are forced to enter a Y or N. This was
  103.                 installed to handle problems encountered when using Digiboards.
  104.                 With this release you can choose whether you want to force a
  105.                 y/n OR if you want to use the y/N format which allows the
  106.                 player to press ENTER for the default N. You must update your
  107.                 CFG file, see DOC file.

  109.                 Opening screen not asking if you wanted instructions. Opening
  110.                 screen would just flash on the screen and the game would
  111.                 continue.

  114.          [v5.5] When using the (#) option to display the Hall of Fame
  115.                 scores, the program was not recognizing it as a valid
  116.                 command. In addition it would not return the cursor to
  117.                 proper screen position nor would it clear the callers
  118.                 input. Should work fine now.

  123.          [v5.4] If you did not have a large number of puzzles in the
  124.                 BONUS.DAT file, the maintnenace program was not moving
  125.                 puzzles from the database (BONUS.DAT) to the question file
  126.                 (BONUS.QUE). You would end up with a 0 length BONUS.QUE file
  127.                 and when caller reached the BONUS round they would end up
  128.                 with an error #62.. Input Past End of File.

  130.                 If you used 'LEVELS' as one of the options in the WHEEL.CFG
  131.                 file, the program would not stop at the opening screen. It
  132.                 would just display the opening screen and immediately jump
  133.                 to the LEVELS SELECTION screen.

  137.                 Have had a report that the line containing the remaining
  138.                 letters from which to choose, would 'disappear' and then

  144.                 has existed in the program for 4+ years....

  153.                 every puzzle. They will only be asked once, upon entering

  158.                 with the saved puzzle.
